In the Spring of 2017 a group of folks from the Dripping Springs area gathered to discuss the possibility of starting a new Anglican church.  There were folks from other Anglican churches in the Austin area as well as folks from the community.  This group has gathered to pray and plan, mostly pray, for God to move and show us the way forward.  During the summer months of 2018 God moved us to name the church Good Shepherd Anglican Church in Dripping Springs. We met during the summer months to continue praying, seeking God’s guidance and for fellowship. On September 9, 2018 Good Shepherd started meeting at Church of the Springs on Sports Park Rd. during the evening. In June of 2019 Good Shepherd began gathering for worship at The Hub in Dripping Springs and continue until God called God Shepherd to relocate to Veritas Academy in SW Austin in June of 2024. We invite you to come join us and help us grow as a new church plant in the Austin/Dripping Springs community.

Our Mission

To bring the good news of Jesus Christ to the community of Southwest Austin/Dripping Springs. In partnership with other churches in the area, Good Shepherd Anglican Church will develop and foster a community of people who have been changed by God's grace and seek to be generous toward others.

New church planting is the only way that we can be sure we are going to increase the number of believers in a city and one of the best ways to renew the whole body of Christ.
